Match up a mischievous little girl with a smart-phone-mesmerized babysitter and what do you have? Complete mayhem! While the babysitter is off in her digital world, hyperactive Nell entertains herself by dressing in mom’s high heels, jumping on a pogo stick, skateboarding through the living room, running the pet dog on a treadmill, juggling eggs (uh-oh!) and spinning on a ceiling fan.
Designed for the beginning reader, Look, Babysitter, Look includes zany, whimsical illustrations and a simple story line of mostly two or three-letter words, short sentences, and repetition.
Also included are ten different interactive activities for young readers to practice reading skills and improve comprehension and retention. Using different color crayons, the child can match rhyming words or pictures, find hidden words in a matrix of letters and answer simple questions. Completed pages can be saved, emailed or printed.

Both the author, Mrs. K, a reading and writing teacher, and the illustrator, Mrs. A, an art teacher, hold master’s degrees in education. Mrs. K has 15 years tutoring experience and 7 years of public school and university teaching. Mrs. A has more than 30 years teaching experience, and has published cartoons, greeting cards and advertising illustrations.
